What mistaken identity?

Mistaken identity: On Saturday September 3, 1966, Sue Williams made an appearance as "Sue Williams, Miss April 1965" at the Anaheim store of Cotley's Gentlemen's Outfitters, in a promotion "You Have a Date with a Playmate". Hamilton committed suicide with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest on September 2, 1969.

It seems the one who died 1969 was a different one. But who was she then? Apparently a model known as "Sue Williams", who wasn't called "Sue Hamilton" as this article's subject. The article actually though says she was "Sue Williams" also known as "Sue Hamilton", but the article is still named "Sue Hamilton".
